The Returned Material Authorization
System (RMA) is a comprehensive on-line enhancement that will enhance
your company's ability to track and monitor customer returned goods and
products.
RMA will keep track of who is returning
the item, how many are being returned, what the inspection department found out
about the item, and the disposition of the item. This enhancement will also keep
track of the cost and labor charges that occurred while inspecting or repairing
the item.
The RMA System uses the MAPICS Item
Master and the Customer Master File.
