The Financial Statement Utility (FSU) uses information in your existing General Ledger to create sophisticated, spreadsheet-style Financial Reports: Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Changes in Financial Position, and other supporting schedules.

FSU Reports are completely user-defined and work with virtually any Chart of Accounts structure. FSU Maintenance is interactive with excellent on-line HELP support. Comprehensive documentation manuals include several printed examples.

Consolidated companies, departmentalization and columnar reporting are some of FSU's many features.

	FSU supports Company Numbers and Department Numbers separate form General Ledger account numbers
	Companies and Departments may be reported individually, combined in groups, or combined in total
	Reports may show different Companies and Departments in separate columns, separate pages or different portions of the same page
	Companies and Departments to be reported or combined may be fixed (entered  with the report definition) or variable (entered when the report is run)
	Companies to be reported or combined may have different Chart of Accounts structures
	Both calendar and fiscal year structures are supported
	Reports may mix General Ledger information from "this year", "last year", and "budget"
	Reports may mix time periods between month-to-date, quarter-to-date, and prior periods
	Both columns and lines may be computed with flexible, sophisticated mathematics
	Computed information from one report may be retrieved and used on another
	Functions: Variances and averages may be computed in dollars and percentages Numbers may be rounded to the nearest dollar or thousand dollars Debits or credits may be shown No limit to the number of accounts on a printed line No limit to the number of totals or subtotals to a report Reports may be multi-page with user control of when to page advance Positioning of columns and descriptions may be easily controlled Reports may change format between pages or on the same page Supports upper and lower case column and line descriptions Supports condensed (15 CPI) printing on appropriate printers Reports may be up to 198 columns wide (with condensed printing) New reports may be created by copying and modifying existing reports
